Abeking & Rasmussen 72.5-meter Explorer Yacht “CloudBreak” Delivered

German builder Abeking & Rasmussen’s latest superyacht, the 72.5-meter explorer yacht “Cloudbreak” has been delivered. The yacht is expected to leave and embark on a circumnavigation of the globe to visit rare and remote areas of the world.

The design of Cloudbreak is penned by Espen Oeino with a luxurious and comfortable interior by Christian Liaigre. With a tonnage around 2,200 gross tonnes she is rather voluminious with space across her 4 internal decks above the waterline.

156-meter “Dilbar” Leaves Lurssen on Delivery

The 156-meter (515-foot) superyacht “Dilbar” has left her birth yard of Lurssen enroute to her first port of call, expected to be Tangier, Morocco. The design is by Espen Oeino with an interior by Andrew Winch Designs.

The yacht is massive, rising an impressive 7-plus decks above the waterline. Her hull is built in steel and the superstructure in aluminium and she is rumored to be 15,500 GT.

86-meter Sailing Yacht “AQUIJO” Delivered By Vitters/OceAnco

It was an uncommon association between a sailing yacht company teaming wit a a motoryacht manufacturer to build and finish a very large indeed sailing yacht. Her name is “Aquijo” and her exterior design work came by Tripp Design and Naval Architecture while the interior was done by Dolker & Voges. She combines extensive space & comfort and state-of-the-art technology both inside and out.

Up close, MADAME KATE’s unique pearl effect finish creates a brilliant effect in sunlight, but also sparkles with elegance at night, thanks to the elaborate lighting system. The Owner wanted the boat to be in the spotlight, like a star at the Cannes film festival, thanks to the sophisticated lighting – above and below the waterline – with the ability to change colours.

The lighting in general was part of the quest for the boat. And on top of that, the paint finish of the boat became even more important… “Because when you illuminate the boat at night, if she has a special colour, she’s even more beautiful.”
